Circling and Multi-Level Communication
Learn communication skills to help you be a better circler and person.
Mondays 8pm CST: Multi-Level Communication (MLC)
Thursdays 8:30pm CST: Circling
Multi-Level Communication covers:
Practices that open your heart into deeper connection, vulnerability and presence. This is the "feel good" stuff. Explore your deeper desires, memories, and gifts.
Learning to find the emotional bias' in your system, so you can update your impressions and stop carrying historical baggage that stops you from responding intelligently to the issues at hand.
Learning different mindsets and sentence stems to de-escalate confrontation, without turning away from the underlying issues at hand.
When everyone embraces their own truth, disagreement is bound to emerge! This is good. Learn how to move through these challenges with poise and confidence. Move through these tougher moments, even more connected to your sense of purpose and care.
Learn to track shifts in the space. In particular, shifts within the four modes of communication:
Informational, Emotional, Sensory, Relational
Where we weave it all together.
A powerful conversational meditation practice that lead you to places and spaces of insight, you'd never get to in a "regular" conversation.
Learn to see others as they are, without trying to change them. Learn to be seen as YOU are, without people trying to change you. Learn to love and honor all parts of yourself, even the parts we usually reject or shame.
Four Practices of We-Space Circling:
Instead of responding in your normal habit-patterns, slow down and tune into what's actually happening your present moment experience.
When we have an insight or idea about another person's experience, we find a way to "Turn it around" into an I-Statement. This gives us insight as to why we are saying what we are saying and can help us get to the "heart" of the matter.
Honor your life-force
Sometimes images/thoughts/impulses don't pass, but instead keep "coming back" to us. Pay attention to that. We learn to trust this and give voice to what's coming. Often, when we follow the life-force, it will lead us to powerful explorations that hit directly where we "needed" to go.
From silence, we can come back to relationship with ourselves and see where "the group mind" wants to take us.
******You MUST be taking MLC training to take part in the Thursday night sessions. MLC gives you the skillsets you need to be able to make these practices effective and meaningful. Without MLC the conversations can become explosive and lack skillfulness.******
