ALEXANDRA works as an actor, artist and workshop facilitator across Canada.
She weaves together her experience in the arts, theatre and group healing into insightful, energetic and meaningful facilitation.
Alexandra is driven to share these practices with others, because she has experienced the healing power of each of them. She is deeply humbled by the body's capacity to guide itself to healing, in the right environment.
She has a profound awareness of the dance between the sacred masculine and sacred feminine within all beings. Exploring the relationship between these qualities has lead to an incredible transformation of her once depleted and fragmented body-mind. She is grateful to feel the potency of her spirit once again, and she hopes to inspire others to engage in the power and compassion which lies within everyone.
Alexandra (Hoji) is a student of Zen and Tibetan Meditation Practice. She is a teacher-in-training under the master practitioner Upasaka Culadasa. She is also a Mondo Zen Facilitator, under the training of Junpo Roshi. She brings these deep teachings into her lively and engaging facilitation.
She is experienced in Theatre, Developmental Movement practices and Bio-Emotive Focusing and Circling. She loves Integral Theory, Human Development, and Subtle Space Awareness Practices.
Other relevant information is has 5+ years of working in the foster-care system, and was the Executive Director of Frame Projects Inc., a non-profit dedicated to bringing art to low-income neighbourhoods.
